I am a relatively new subscriber to
Digital Camera
and one thing I need some help with is this: a lot of pictures sent to the magazine are really nice, but many are just OK in my opinion. I’ve sent you a few assorted photos, mainly just point, focus and shoot, where I’m trying to obtain a good outcome with the camera. Could you take a look at them and give me your opinion on what’s right and wrong with them, or is photography more about doing your own thing? Then again, I need to know why others win competitions with photos that, in my opinion, look quite ordinary.
