What first motivated you to start shooting portraits?
When I first found photography, I would take close-ups of a lot of different things, and a lot of architecture. That was easier for me, because your subject was already there.
Once I started photographing people, I just felt there was more magic in the photos. There was a connection and an energy between two people, and I could see the potential of that. The more that you would add into it, the more you would get out of it. I would slowly and surely try to add more elements to each photo, and see where I could take it.
