Use the Camera Raw Filter
With the Background Layer selected, press Ctrl/Cmd+J to make a copy of the Layer. Go to Filter > Camera Raw Filter; when the dialog box opens, expand the Basic Panel. To increase the texture, move the Texture slider to the right (try 45), and increase Clarity to 40. The latter increases midtone contrast, which makes detail and textures appear sharper, but don’t push it too far.
