2 SHOOT AND EDIT HANDHELD HDR FOR MORE DETAIL
Capture detail across the scene without using ND grad filters or even a tripod
There’s an effective technique that you can use to capture lots of information: highdynamic-range photography. This is where you shoot a series of bracketed exposures to capture detail from the shadows all the way to the highlights, and these are then merged into a single image in Lightroom or specialist HDR software. The technique is typically shot with the camera on a tripod, but with a steady hand you can also successfully shoot handheld.
