What camera gear did you use to capture this shot?
Canon EOS 5D Mark II, EF 40mm f/2.8 STM lens at 40mm, f/5, 1/1600sec
What would you say you like most about this image?
I like that the rays of the setting sun shine through the fog and create a mystery around the tree. I wanted to emphasise this. Starting from the left corner, the road leads the viewer’s eyes to the tree. The sun is the vanishing point of the composition, so it is in the centre. The cloud lines, on the right, balance the path on the left. Hopefully this way the composition seems clean.
