Based on a novel of the same name by Deborah Levy, this familial drama sees DIVA favourite Fiona Shaw and Emma Mackey star as a mother-daughter duo with a tense relationship. Sofia (Emma) has journeyed to Spain with her overbearing mother Rose (Fiona), who is a wheelchair user. After meeting the free-spirited Ingrid (Vicky Krieps), Sofia experiences a summer of sexual awakenings and freedom – one which may change her relationship with her mother forever.
