Lost Memories, a three-part downloadable expansion to Corey Martin’s autumnal 2021 puzzler, begins with its protagonist heading for sunnier shores aboard a swan pedalo. The skies there might be a lighter shade of blue, but this is something of a busman’s holiday: what you get here is essentially more of the same Sokoban-style challenges involving burning your belongings. The main difference is that it focuses on one particular style of puzzle. We sensed the possibilities presented by the original game’s arrow traps hadn’t been fully exhausted, and Lost Memories Part 1 demonstrates just how much mileage there is in that particular mechanic.
