Light is especially important in stealth games; we’re pleased to note that
Thick As Thieves
’ has a gauzy, almost physical quality.
The rival thief engaged with the guard is Nisha, the Spider. That’s not the wisest choice, since combat isn’t her archetype’s strong suit.
Thick As Thieves
’ audio propagation is apparently detailed enough that you might detect a break-in by the rain outside getting louder, but there are less subtle environmental cues, such as the glowing footprints left behind when a rival player sprints.
