After you first got the role, what kind of research did you do to get into Catwoman’s headspace?
The one comic that Matt [Reeves] and I spoke about together was Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One, so that was what I really focused on. This character’s so iconic, there’s so much information out there, there are so many different versions of her, and there are so many opinions on them, when I started to look around, I thought, “You know what? All the information I need for this character is in that one comic, and the script.”
