Dell’s latest 14in laptop is a compact device designed to be easy to carry around and use anywhere. It’s an update of the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus (£592 from www.snipca.com/54634, reviewed in Issue 683).
While both laptops look almost identical, the 14 Plus has a slightly different set of connections. The left edge now has two USB-C and one HDMI port, while there’s a single USB 3.2 port and a headphone jack on the right (all pictured below). That means the standard USB-A port has been replaced by USB-C, but it also means the Inspiron’s microSD card slot has gone.
