LED printers
What do they do?
Most of us are familiar with laser printers. LED printers are very similar, in that they use light to create an image of the page to be printed on a photoreceptive drum, which is then transferred to paper using toner. However, while laser printers use a single laser that’s guided across the drum with a moving mirror to create the image, an LED printer uses a strip of tiny LEDs. An LED printer is typically smaller, uses less power and is less prone to mechanical failure.
