“So where does running come into it all?” I was in a cafe the other day. Yep, in a real live cafe with a real live person (pre-lockdown). We kept our distance, followed the rules and bloody hell, before yet another lockdown kicked in, it was a joy to be out.
My new friend and I had been chatting online but this was our first meeting in the flesh. She’d had her own brush with breast cancer just as the world fell apart back in March so it was comforting to share experiences and connect on that level but the main purpose of our meeting was to brainstorm a few of the creative ideas we were having for 2021. I’d like to call it a work meeting, because that would make me feel very important and grown up. It wasn’t really. I guess you could say it was an ideas meeting – with extremely good hot chocolate thrown in.
