It’s fair to say there is a lot of excitement in the room when the judges for the HELLO! Inspiration Awards 2021 gather together.
Chatting as they look through racks of glamorous gowns, our five judges aren’t just happy to dress up and pose for the cameras, they are also very pleased at getting to honour the people who go above and beyond to help others –a virtue that has become increasingly important over the pandemic – by sifting through the nominations for two very special categories in our annual ceremony.
As returning judge Lorraine Kelly says while pondering the shortlist for the Star Mum and #HelloToKindness awards, there has never been a better time to applaud those whose selfless acts have made the world a better place.
“I love these awards – it’s one of the highlights of the year,” she tells HELLO!. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to say thank you to people who’ve done amazing things, especially right now.
“I think all of these incredible nominees are winners and have made such a difference with their generosity and kindness. It’s been such an honour to learn about their inspiring stories. It’s clear their big-heartedness will have a ripple effect that makes the world a better place.”
