With so many skincare brands launching, it can be difficult to know which ones to try, let alone trust, which could explain why there’s been a noticeable shift towards doctor-led skincare. At Space NK, doctor-led brands are up 41% from last year, with the biggest growth from Augustinus Bader – founded by a German-born biomedical scientist and physician – while 111SKIN, the culmination of 20 years of surgical knowledge by a Harley Street cosmetic surgeon, saw an 84% increase in sales during the first quarter of this year.
