ALEX SCOTT KIDS’ STUFF
The present esenter and former Lioness is thrilled to be back hosting BBC Children in Need – another emotional moment in her year of personal growth
The star-studded annual fundraising extravaganza that is BBC Children in Need is always guaranteed to be one of the most moving TV broadcasts of the year. So it’s no surprise that when footballer turned presenter Alex Scott takes part every November, she finds it a life-affirming thing to do.
“The show is so inspiring and emotional; I will call my mum straight after. It always makes me so grateful for the important people in my life,” says Alex, who shares a close bond with mum Carol McKee, as she prepares to join comedians Chris Ramsey and Jason Manford, presenters Ade Adepitan and Mel Giedroyc and Bafta-winning teenage actor Lenny Rush to present the programme on Friday.
