If you spend any amount of time with Gaby Roslin, you quickly learn that she doesn’t just talk the talk when it comes to having a glass-half-full attitude – and it’s contagious. After five minutes, the TV presenter has us jumping up and down on the spot: a technique she swears by to put a pep in your step, whatever your mood.
Gaby’s positivity doesn’t come from a place of complacency, however. “Life is very difficult. It has been very difficult and continues to be for many people,” says the former The Big Breakfast star, 59. It was during a challenging period in her own life that she made the decision to accentuate the positive – and she hasn’t looked back since.
Now, with the publication of her first book, the mum of two – daughters Libbi-Jack, 22, and Amelie, 16 – is on a mission to help others with practical guide Spread the Joy, filled with tried and tested tips for living a happier life. We sat down with her to find out more.
