Surrounded by close friends and family, the King celebrates his 75th birthday this week on 14 November with a private party at his London residence, Clarence House.
He has also chosen his birthday to launch the Coronation Food Project, aiming to reduce food waste while also helping people in need. So despite his charity The Prince’s Foundation hosting a party for him at his Gloucestershire home, Highgrove, the day before, 14 November will be a normal working day for the King and the Queen, as has been his style all his adult life.
