WHY DID ELVIS WEAR JUMP SUITS?

During his stint in the army between 1958 and 1960, Elvis Presley became a devotee of martial arts and especially karate. Tose famous stage kicks came from a genuine black-belt. Trouble was, his shirt kept coming untucked. Worse, with stadium lighting in its infancy, people in the cheap seats were having trouble seeing the King in his trademark black. Oh, and he was convinced he had a ‘long neck’, which he always tried to hide.
