Customising books to display as mini works of art in your home
This is probably one of the easiest and cheapest décor updates we’ve ever seen. ‘If you find it difficult to put pen to a blank, white sheet of paper, what about a surface with structure?’ asks Elisabeth Dunker, author of Fine Little Day (£16, Pavillion). ‘Use pencils, pastels, watercolours, nail varnish – whatever you’ve got!’ And if scribbling directly on the covers feels oddly mischievous, create a quick paper sleeve and work on that instead.
