WHO’S WHO INTHE MOON?
An up-close look at Earth’s only natural satellite and many of the individual features scattered across its surface
Dear HIW,
My mum has always made me wash the skin of fruits before skinning them, probably because she’s worried about pesticides. Recently, my parents have been buying more peaches, and I noticed that when I put them under running water and quickly turn off the tap, there are a few drops that don’t roll along the skin of the peach. Is this because of the peach hairs? I’ve also noticed that if I rub the peach skin under running water this doesn’t happen.
