BEN PATTISON produced a stunning performance at the British Milers’ Club PB Classic to break the UK under-15 record.
The 14-year-old Basingstoke & Mid Hants athlete clocked a time of 1:54.52 to shave 0.2 off the previous record set by Cornwall athlete Jordon West in 2003 and also move ahead of Michael Rimmer (1:55.56) in the rankings.
“When I saw the clock I was shocked,” said Pattison.
