It dethroned Madonna to top the UK charts, granting Bush the creative freedom to pursue her artistic vision. ​

In recent years, Running Up That Hill, a classic single from Hounds Of Love, gained renewed attention after its prominent feature in Netflix’s Stranger Things. This introduced Bush to a new generation, leading her to break records and reach UK No.1 in 2022 — almost four decades after the album's release. This resurgence also led to her induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2023. ​
