At the 2022 Venice Biennale Danza, the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement wento to Saburo Teshigawara, who is our cover star for this last issue of the year. The Japanese dancer, choreographer and visual artist is a master of sensory experience and poetry. Teshigawara is returning to Italian theatres with existing works that have never been shown in this country. Meanwhile, his creative impulse seems unstoppable, as he works towards new challenges.

We met Uzma Hameed, a dramaturg and kathak dancer, and long-time collaborator of Wayne McGregor in London. Based on her experience, we put together a profile of this vital member of any creative team.
