“I once drove 600km to eat Mimma’s focaccia”

“I moved to the UK from Italy five years ago, and if I get homesick I cook something that reminds me of my home country.
This recipe was passed on to me by my godmother, Mimma, who comes from Puglia in southern Italy. The smell of this focaccia as it bakes instantly makes me think of Mimma. She’s a great cook and her hearty southern Italian cooking is a crowdpleaser. It’s so addictive that I once drove over 600km by myself just to see her and eat her delicious focaccia.
