In rugby league we can perhaps spend too much time reflecting on the things that are wrong in our sport and overlook the good stuff.
With the RFL undertaking yet another ‘strategic review’ of its operations, the ongoing dramas at Salford and the loss of yet another expansion club, this time in Cornwall, that’s hardly surprising.
But the speed at which tickets for the long-awaited Ashes Series are selling, including ‘sold out’ signs already up at Everton and Headingley, should give us some cause for optimism.
Can England win the series, and if they did what benefits might it generate? We dare to dream of the possibilities inside this issue, and we also talk to Wigan’s Harry Smith, our cover star who will be an integral part of trying to turn dreams to reality.
