Welcome to the December issue of Vegan Life.

Yet another year seems to have flown by – and it’s been an exciting one in the world of veganism. For a start, we’ve seen our numbers swell to their highest ever point – as evidenced by the poll we commissioned along with our friends at The Vegan Society. More and more people are starting to get involved in every level of veganism – whether it is cooking delicious food, spreading the word online, or attending marches, protests, demos, and more.

This inspired a special feature – we spoke to two young women on the frontline of activism, about why they chose to get involved in demonstrations and protests, and how this kind of activity impacts on them. It’s never easy to see animals suffer, but this proactive pair talk about why it is so important to be vocal.

Another woman who’s done incredible work for the vegan cause is Isa Chandra Moskowitz. She is the author of some of the best vegan cookbooks out there – Isa Does It, Appetite for Reduction, and Veganomicon, (which she co–wrote with Terry Hope Romero) are just some of her titles. She created a cooking show – the Post Punk Kitchen, and is now a restauranteur. We were beyond excited to chat to this vegan legend, who spilled the beans on a number of topics.

If you’ve turned on a television in the last year or so, you won’t have missed Romesh Ranganathan. This brilliant performer is part of a growing group of vegan comedians. In this exclusive interview he opens up about his creative process, why he has a strange world view, and why he isn’t yet the stand–up he wants to be.

Have a great festive season, and don't forget to check out our additional FREE Festive Party Food Cookbook that we have included with this issue.

This magazine changed my life!

Vegan Life magazine fills me with inspiration and hope. The articles are well written and very informative. I only went vegan last January and since then have learned so much, not just about food but lifestyle, clothing, make up, cleaning products, who knew there was so many areas where animals are exploited. I love making the recipes in the magazine can can honestly say I have made almost all of them. Thank you Vegan Life Team, keep up the great work. Recensito 18 settembre 2019

Fantastic mag

I love this mag especially as I believe it's the only one actually written and run by a vegan team so for me it has authenticity. The tone of the articles is spot on and the recipes easy to follow. Some very good daily advise for those jst starting out or anyone wanting to go from just a food perspective to embrace the whole culture and lifestyle. Recensito 08 gennaio 2019

Love it!

By far the best vegan mag on the block. My whole family love the diversity of articles and great recipes. The magazine helped me to go vegan and stay vegan. Since subscribing we must have cooked all the recipes and read every issue cover to cover. A very inspiring read, Love it! Recensito 14 giugno 2018

Best vegan magazine

This is my favourite vegan magazine. It has a good mix of different things: interviews, articles, recipes, product reviews, etc. I find other similar magazines focus too much on just recipes but I like the balance this magazine has. Recensito 03 giugno 2017

Relevant information

I love this magazine, much cheaper on the iPad than in the shop, I think all the articles are very informative and is very encouraging for those that lead a vegan lifestyle! Recensito 03 aprile 2015
