It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and that is absolutely no exception for vegans. What makes Christmas special for me is spending time with my favourite people — be that catching up with old friends at a festive drinks party, a celebratory buffet at work with colleagues, or the main event with my nearest and dearest. And what is the backbone of all of these happy occasions? Food, glorious food. I’m so excited to share all of our favourite vegan Christmas recipes with you.
Kicking off with canapes, your guests will be beyond impressed if you whip up some of these tasty treats. From blinis with smoked carrot & ‘caviar’ (p6) to caramelised onion twists (p15) and my personal fave, seitan satay bites (p17), you’ll be able to put on a spread your friends will be talking about long in to the new year. Instead of passing around a bowl of boring bread rolls, I highly recommend making our cheesy garlic doughball wreath (p23) and let your hungry guests share and tear their way through this delicious treat.
