DIVISION THREE
LEADERS EAST LEEDS saw off the challenge of third-placed OLDHAM ST ANNES, who had been seeking a double after prevailing 28-26 at home, and are now only one point away from clinching the title.
Easts, who led 10-0 on twelve minutes through tries by Luke Littlewood and Ray Ralton, were pegged back to 10-6 when Max Flanagan improved Keiran McGinnity’s effort, but touchdowns by Andy Djeukessi and Josh Longbottom, plus a Littlewood fieldgoal, helped establish a 23-6 lead before Sam Sykes’ consolation effort for St Annes.
