LEAGUE ONE ROUND-UP
MIDLANDS HURRICANES have added some international experience to their ranks with the signing of Brad Billsborough from North Wales Crusaders.
The 25-year-old halfback has represented Germany and had scored ten tries and 81 goals in 54 appearances for the Crusaders before their play-off clash with Workington.
"I am excited to be a part of what Mark and team are building here at Midlands Hurricanes," said Billsborough.
"This opportunity has come at the perfect time for me and I'm looking forward to showing Midlands and their supporters what I can bring to the club.
"I am also looking forward to running out at Alexander Stadium in front of the supporters, helping grow the game in the Midlands and bringing success to the club."
Coach Mark Dunning added: "I'm delighted that Brad has agreed to join us. He is a quality young halfback who displays maturity beyond his years and we feel he has got his best years ahead of him.
"As well as being a threat with ball in hand, Brad's kicking game both out of hand and from the tee is another major strength in his game."
