ALL TOO EASY FOR MUCH-CHANGED TRINITY
CALLUM WALKER DIY Kitchens Stadium, Saturday
WAKEFIELD TRINITY 46
BARROW RAIDERS 0
MEN against boys is how you could describe Wakefield’s hammering of Barrow.
Trinity were in control from the first whistle until the last, with the Raiders feeling the might of the Daryl Powell machine as Oliver Pratt notched a hat-trick and the likes of Max Jowitt and Renouf Atoni ran riot.
It was a much-changed Wakefield side compared to the one that overcame York the previous weekend with the likes of Jermaine McGillvary, Thomas Doyle, Luke Gale and Matty Ashurst dropping out and Jack Croft, Harvey Smith, Mathieu Cozza and Rowan Stephenson – who was making his debut - coming in.
