Kilshaw hails solid Swinton foundations
SWINTON LIONS coach Alan Kilshaw praised all those who have contributed to the club's current off-field stability as he strives to maintain a second-tier berth.
Those hopes were boosted by successive wins over Featherstone (28-8 at home) and Dewsbury (28-16 away) ahead of the penultimate-round visit of Doncaster yesterday (Sunday, September 22). Divisional rivals Halifax and Whitehaven are trying to deal with major monetary issues, and Kilshaw said: "It's been well highlighted that some clubs are currently struggling financially.
