Patchings Festival 2023
Roger Dellar demonstrating at last year’s event
Patchings Festival, in partnership with Painters Online, Leisure Painter and The Artist, from 13 to 15 July, has become a major fixture in the art world calendar, bringing together artists, artisans and art materials in one place in the Nottinghamshire countryside. As well as the popular St Cuthberts Mill festival marquee, hosting watercolour and mixed-media demonstrations by artists such as David Bellamy, Soraya French and Peter Cronin, there will be a new festival marquee featuring a programme of demonstrations in oil and acrylic by artists including David Wilcox, Hazel Money and Peter Keegan. Another new addition is the Royal Society’s marquee, which is dedicated to ten artists from the Royal Societies who will be showing their work, meeting visitors and demonstrating techniques. David Curtis, Haidee-Jo Summers and Roger Dellar are just three of the well-known artists who will be there this year. The Art Materials marquee returns with hundreds of materials for you to try and test before you buy and the Artisan’s marquee will be packed with specially selected products from around the UK. Food and refreshments are available throughout the day, and don’t forget to visit the
