Emteria OS
Les Pounder has installed Android on countless Raspberry Pis (and even an O2 Joggler) but Emteria has to be the easiest way ever.
We’ve installed Android on a plethora of Raspberry Pis going back to the Raspberry Pi 3. Each time we made it work, but the process was arduous and often involved workarounds and hacks, so when we heard about Emteria, we had to give it a go. You see, Emteria is essentially a stripped-back version of Android 15. Nothing from Google is present in the image.
The OS image is free for evaluation use, with nag text at the bottom-right of the screen showing that this is an evaluation copy. A licence starts at €80 per month for up to 50 devices, a steep price for inquisitive makers.
