D printers use slicer software that effectively slices up a 3D model into layers that a printer can understand.
Cura,
by Ultimaker, is one of the most popular slicers and the Kobra Max, SideKick 747 and RoboxDual all use a version or base their software on it. The Kobra Max utilises a profile, the SideKick 747 employs a custom build and the RoboxDual uses some of the code for its fully featured
AutoMaker
software. PRUSA can also make use of
Cura,
but also ships with a download of
PRUSA
Slicer
which the Kobra Max and SideKick could also use.
