RISC-V hits milestone
The architecture now powers over 10 billion cores.

ISC-V, the open standard set architecture (ISA), has surpassed a key milestone. It was revealed at the Embedded World conference that the number of cores in the RISC-V market has exceeded 10 billion, with Calista Redmond, the CEO of RISC-V International, claiming that, “What Linux is doing for software is very similar to what we are doing for hardware.”
