Hi Tilly, how are you? Congratulations on the new addition to your family!
Thank you! Our second little boy was born in April, so in the last few months I’ve been consumed by feeding, nappies and lots of lovely cuddles.
What's keeping your sew-jo energy up this month over at Tilly and the Buttons?
I always say that, as a pattern company, we provide the template, and it's our lovely customers who inject their own vision and creativity to make something unique. So Team Buttons is continuously inspired by seeing the gorgeous garments that people are making with our patterns on social media. We currently have our eyes glued to the #SewingPearl and #SewingIris hashtags to spot our newest patterns out in the wild.
It’s been an unusual past few months for all of us – what have been some of the 2021 highlights for Tilly and the Buttons so far? 2021 started with a bang, with our brand-new online video workshop Make Friends with an Overlocker. It has been extremely popular, and it’s been so rewarding to engage with the participants on the course site, and to read so many comments about how the class has demystified overlocking and got people confident using their machine more regularly.
