It was like pulling back a sheer curtain, revealing our subject’s blurred details in striking clarity
The iPhone 15 Pro’s 48MP sensor produces super-high resolution photos measuring 6048x8064 pixels. This enables you to produce a 20x26inch image with a detail-packed resolution of 300dpi (dots per inch), enabling you to print, frame and hang large images on your wall. However if you have photos snapped on older digital cameras then their resolution will be lower, leading to smaller print size options. Traditionally, you could use an app such as Adobe’s Photoshop to enlarge (upscale) a low-resolution image to make it large enough to print. However, when you enlarge a photo you need to add more pixels to it. This process of interpolation (making up new pixels) can create an enlarged shot that suffers from blurry looking details.
