Using gestures
Save time by using gestures on a trackpad or mouse
You’re probably already au fait with most of Apple’s Magic Trackpad gestures, but here are a few you might not be using.
Paste without formatting
If you copy (Cmd+C) and paste (Cmd+V) text to a document, the formatting used in its source comes with it, as seen in the screen above. If you want the text but not the formatting, paste it by using Shift+Opt-Cmd+V instead. The formatting is removed, and the text is presented just like the rest of the document.
1 Zoom in and out
You can zoom in and out of a document, photo or website by pinching and spreading, but you can also quick-zoom by double-tapping the trackpad with two fingers, and again to zoom out.
