Apple’s reveals new affordable MacBook during spring refresh
Say hello to the MacBook Neo, plus other Mac, iPad and display updates
The latest news & rumours from Cupertino and beyond
The MacBook Neo may be affordable, but it retains that premium feel Apple is known for.
March was a big month for Apple. While there was no showstopper event to reveal a slate of new Apple devices, Apple spent three days drip-feeding press releases into the world, giving us plenty of reasons to pay attention.
Most prominent was the introduction of the MacBook Neo. The all-new laptop occupies the lower-end of Apple’s line-up. Priced at £599, it’s easily the most affordable MacBook money can buy, and it’s almost half the price of the £1,099 M5 MacBook Air (more on that later).
But that low bar to entry doesn’t mean that Apple has cheaped out with the MacBook Neo. No, this is still a very capable computer, and if all you want to do with it is browse the internet, send emails and edit a few photos, it should be top of your list.
