How to select, transform and combine multiple layers
1 Quick Selection The intelligent Quick Selection tool works out which parts of a subject you want to select.
2 Layer masks White sections keep the attached layer’s pixels 100% solid ; black parts create 100% transparency.
3 Fine tune Black brush strokes hide any remaining unabated pixels. White strokes reveal missing pixels.
4 Shadows To integrate the child into the image, spray shadows on to a background transparent layer.
