MESSAGES HAS GRADUALLY been catching up with apps like WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams, and in iOS 16 and iPadOS 16, it gets some of its most useful additions yet.
Until now, if you sent an angry message to your boss, there was nothing you could do except wait for the fallout. Now, you can unsend the message and they won’t know anything about it. Alternatively, you can edit the message — although, be warned: your boss will be able to see the edits you have made. Messages also joins the SharePlay party. When SharePlay first launched, you could only use it while you were on a FaceTime call. Now, you can use it in Messages, too.
