Backbone’s world is populated by anthropomorphic animals. Society is divided into species– based strata, with Apes on top and rodents at the bottom. You play as a raccoon detective named Howard. Being a raccoon, he’s somewhere in the middle of the class system. He takes on a case that will change everything and quickly spirals out of control.
