THERE ARE MANY reasons why you might wish to change your Mac’s display settings — from tweaking the text size so that content is easier to read, to increasing the resolution so you can fit more items on screen at once.
Both options can be really handy when you’re on a Mac laptop where the physical display size is limited (especially on a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro 13in), but you can also use options in System Settings > Displays to manage both the displays of desktop Macs (an iMac, say) and those of external monitors.
