Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine September 2009 Back Issue

This issue of Making Cards is simply bursting with creativity and lots of eye-catching designs. So if you're a little fed up with rectangular and square shaped cards then Dee Paramour's circular cards are just what you’re after. Sue Roddis has also created some bird house shaped cards that can be used for all sorts of different occasions. Another unusual design is the fun card on page 14 which can be continually opened to create the illusion of a never ending card. It’s a really interesting concept that will intrigue the recipient!

For an eye-catching effect be sure to check out the stamped cards on page 20. The images look like they have been engraved but in fact they are stamped onto Magic Foil card. See if you can fool your cardmaking friends and make them think you’ve spent hours and hours engraving your designs!

If florals or fashion is your thing then don’t miss the ribbon flower designs or handbag cards. The ribbon flowers form really pretty focal points while the handbag cards can easily be adapted to suit the recipient’s fashion style using different patterned papers.

Making Cards & Papercraft

I'd like to see a bigger variety of papers. Love what you do, but very similar often. Soft florals, cute critters etc, would be lovely. Reviewed 20 February 2020
