Corsair HS60 Haptic
This headset comes with haptic feedback that can vibrate you to your eyeballs—but that you can also switch off
THIS IS the Corsair HS60 Haptic gaming headset. The HS series of headsets are generally a bit more toned down than a lot of Corsair’s products: There’s no RGB or anything too crazy, just an emphasis on build quality, comfort, and audio performance. And it’s done well.
In fact, the original HS60s were some of the best budget(ish) headsets out there when they first launched in 2018. However, something else happened that year, and that was the launch of Razer’s Nari Ultimate gaming headset, complete with haptic-feedback drivers. I was fortunate enough to take a look at these back when they first launched, and they were an interesting concept, with some significant flaws. Mainly this revolved around the lack of an off switch, and the biggest problem was that they were $200. That’s a hefty investment for a headset developed around a design concept that you couldn’t actually disable if you didn’t like it.
