THE FIRST SONG that comes to mind is Moonchild by IRON MAIDEN. It’s not the song so much as the role it played. The reason it has a big meaning for me personally is that it was the first song from the first metal tape I ever got. I was about 11, I didn’t know what heavy metal was, and after five minutes, I knew what the real deal was! Ha ha ha! That really changed my life. Still when I listen to this song, it’s like pure adrenaline to me, because I remember this moment. Another song from that same tape was Diary Of A Madman by OZZY OSBOURNE. There’s this very nice, acoustic guitar intro of the title track, and that was the moment that made me wanna play guitar. It took a couple of years, but I made the dream real!
