When did you first notice Metallica?
“I saw Metallica open for Saxon at the Whisky A Go Go in LA in 1982 [March 27, 1982 – Metallica’s second-ever show]. It was James singing, just on the mic, along with Dave Mustaine, Ron McGovney and Lars, of course.”
