How did James Hetfield end up on your song Man Or Ash in 1996?
“They were in the studio in New York City and we were at Electric Lady Studios in New York City doing [fifth album] Wiseblood. He came by the studio one day and we were sitting there listening to this song. He was like, ‘What? You’re not going to ask me to sing?’ We were joking about it, but we set up the mics real quick! By the time we were done, it sounded like it was meant to be.”
