ELECTRIC BALLROOM, LONDON
ROLO TOMASSI’S UNIQUE take on post-hardcore continues to convert people, with tonight’s show the biggest headliner the Sheffield quartet have played to date. But first, HERIOT are on blistering form. They’re tight and focused – despite a false start that vocalist/ guitarist Debbie Gough endearingly apologies for – and it says much for their future that the best song of the night by far is Demure, which premiered just a couple of days previously. Heriot’s debut headline UK tour will have no doubt sold out by the time you read this, and with performances like this, it’s easy to see why.
