EVEN THOUGH IT’S become an increasingly common gimmick, an artist presenting themselves under an anonymous guise still has the ability to captivate in a world of easy answers and access. While half of UK duo Sermon plies their trade behind Decapitated’s drumkit, a mysterious masked multiinstrumentalist only known as Him naturally adds a sense of intrigue. The interest was also enhanced by the band going silent just months after the release of 2019 debut Birth Of The Marvellous and a solitary show, only to emerge again nearly three years later.
